Goliath Grouper Fishing
The Goliath Grouper is by far our captains’ favorite fish to fight! This massive species is the largest in the western hemisphere, reaching lengths of up to 8 feet and weighing in around 800 pounds. It truly feels like you’ve hooked up to a bus when you’re trying to reel them in! They put up a really strong fight, but once you’ve gotten them to the surface, you have officially won. Additionally, despite having teeth, they typically engulf and swallow their prey whole. This means that once they’re hooked, you better hold on tight!
The Boat
The boat you will be on is the nicest boat money can buy! Our Crevalle Bay boat is perfect for Goliath Grouper fishing because of its midsize gunnel, which allows you to steady yourself against the edge during your fight to wrangle one of these massive fish, while still being low enough to the water to get that once-in-a-lifetime picture! This 26 foot beauty is also equipped with a power pole, trolling motor, yachting electronics, and navigational fish finders. It features a second helm so that your captain can drive from above to spot your next catch.
Your Captain
Your captain will be able to put you on the grouper! If you are a fisherman and want to learn new tips and tricks, your captain will be able to share their knowledge so that you, too, can land your next big catch! Your captain will make sure that you have a trip of a lifetime and will be capturing epic pictures along the way.
What To Expect
Upon your arrival to our private marina, your captain will meet you inside or on our covered porch and will offer you a coffee to wake you up and the restroom before you depart. They will have the boat gassed up and stocked with water, fishing gear, and bait. This ensures that your entire 4, 6, or 8 hour charter will be non-stop fun!
You will enjoy an action-packed day with your captain as they put you on the fish and take tons of pictures so you can remember this day for a lifetime! After an amazing fun-filled day on the water, your captain will bring you back to the dock where they will filet all of the keeper fish you caught. They can even recommend a few restaurants that will cook your catch for lunch or dinner!
